It’s Youth Day in South Africa and we want to keep you inspired on Mandela Monday so we bring you the stories of two NGO’s: Skateistan began teaching young kids in the streets of Kabul, Afghanistan, to skateboard and in this way reach out to those who don’t have a safe place just to be kids to learn and play. They have now established themselves in Johannesburg, we find out more. We chat to the founder of Girls&Football SA about why they are sharing the love of the game with young girls from disadvantaged backgrounds in SA and how they hope playing football will inspire these girls to make better life decisions. Find out how the Tutudesk is making its way to the classrooms of pupils who need it the most and helping the future of South Africa to have access to a basic right, education. Celebrate Youth Day 2014 with Expresso as we showcase the best in food, lifestyle and entertainment television. We have two young aspiring chefs sharing their love for cooking with us. The hilarious pianist, Kev Orkian keeps us entertained throughout the morning.
