SA-discovered model makes Playmate of the Year in Holland
Playmate Zimra Guerts
Born in Utrecht, Holland to a South African mother and Dutch father, Zimra Guerts stayed in Holland from birth until she was 15 and, because of her South African decency, she came back to South Africa and stayed in Cape Town until she was 17. Zimra started her modeling career at Infinity Models in Cape Town at age 15. At age 19 she became Playboy Holland’s October 2011 Playmate, she became December 2011 Playmate for Playboy Croatia.
But the biggest highlight for her career was being named 2011 Playmate of the Year for Playboy Holland.
In an interview with TimesLIVE, Zimra speakes of her memories while in South Africa. “I have so many fun memories of Herzlia (the high school she attended in Cape Town), especially of the friends I made there. My favourite subjects were definitely acting and Afrikaans – it’s similar to Dutch in a funny way so that always made me laugh,” she said.

The aunt to 1,6 meter blonde, Gillian Emergui, said: “We’re very proud and very happy for her. Initially it was a bit shocking – but she’s blossoming. Besides, we’ve always been a very musical and entertaining family.”
